Work Culture At Karma Chalets

Most of us assume we’re stuck doing our jobs the way we always have.
Now, that is what sets us apart at Karma Chalets!

Being a boutique hotel, our ideal goal will always be guest satisfaction.
But how do we go about it? That’s on us!

When we imagine a desirable workplace culture, it often resembles a wonderland; Ping-Pong tables, bean bag chairs, vending machines, etc. But in reality, it means something different: a place where people actually want to work, because they have a sense of purpose, diverse perspectives are welcomed and people have the flexibility to live their lives outside work.
Ours isn’t a regular 9 to 5; At times you’ll find us attending calls through the night, answering DM’s on social media at 2 am, rushing in as early as 7 am for a sunrise photoshoot, it’s all part of the package and oh-so fun!
And you know why?
Because we want to!

Here,
You’re a Chef de partite in the kitchen but love to help out the designers when they’re seen creating artworks somewhere;
A guest executive who enjoys setting up the spaces with fresh flowers every morning;
The gardener is always prompt with taking the guests on a tour of the lush grounds;
The designer is seen interacting with the patrons all over the hotel property..
And the director? She’s busy painting the walls of our canteen halls!
Suffice to say, we’re all just a group of people who’ve found our calling in this abundant land of nature, going about our days under the haven of lush greens, comfortable companionship and warm smiles.

In a generic hospitality sector, you come across several departments that aid in the overall growth of a brand, and that is how it has always been.
Karma Chalets has gone way past that thinking, and we as their employees are glad for it.
In times of desperate need, the team has always been there with each other, a true showmanship when the time calls for it.

Simply put, “It’s a shared way of doing something with a passion.”
